Faces on Paper

Faces on Paper is a series of over sixty works, each done quickly with thin washes of acrylic and ink — a face caught in a few essential marks before it can slip away. Some read as human, some as horse or wolf, but none are literal; they hover between species and suggestion. Each creates its own distinct mood, with an emotional resonance all its own.
Most of the originals are 37” x 24” unframed.
